Comprehensive Eye Exams:
A “routine eye exam” takes place when you come for an eye examination without any underlying medical conditions that affect the eyes. The doctor screens the eyes for eye diseases and will check your vision for corrective lenses such as glasses and/or contact lenses. It is important to know your insurance benefits and how they apply to your visit. Benefits may vary based on the reason for your visit. Learn more about our Comprehensive Eye Exams in our FAQs.
Specialized Eye Exams:
Exams for medical care which are for evaluation of a medical-related complaint or follow-up of existing conditions like Diabetes, Dry Eyes, Eye Allergies, Floaters and/or Flashes, Glaucoma, High-Risk Medications (Auto Immune, Systemic Illness Treatment), Cataracts, Macular Degeneration.
Contact Lens Fittings:
The contact lens evaluation and fitting is an additional fee not included in your comprehensive examination cost. The price for this extra service depends on the lens type and complexity of the contact lens fit decided by the doctor. Depending on your vision insurance, some plans cover the contact lens fitting in total, require a copay or give a discount. Learn more about Contact Lens Fittings in our FAQs.

We can print out a copy of your eyeglass prescription at any time at your request once your exam is complete. We fit distance vision only, near vision only, bifocal, trifocal, progressive, occupational, computer, anti-fatigue, safety, sports, sunglasses and recreational/hobby lenses.
